Working on a project most of the night. Started it the other day. It is a little early, but will send it tomorrow. Could wait until Sunday, but will send it a little early. "Cutting Edge". Do enjoy the movie. Tomorrow, two classes. Been able to sit in class today, so hopefully, will be able to tomorrow. Still have a little while to go until the end of the movie. Until tomorrow morning. I truly believe I had COVID or something similar, a variation. This article just brings to point, there is a lot of stuff out there, which might lead to other things. I do sometimes believe I have had something like a virus, a slight flu or cold. What do you do??? Just keeping fighting through it the best you can.

There is nothing more loving than a dog that is hungry and wanting to be fed. Chance likes licking my hand to show he is hungry and it is eating time. Haha. Time day at school. Little minor computer issues with MS. Microsoft can be a pain a lot. Anyway, nothing major. Before my 2nd class, there is another class in the room. The instructor was leaving and made the comment how happy I always seem to be. I said OK. He shook hands and said "God bless". Yes, He has. Lecturing going great, I believe. Stopped at Sam's. He next miracle has to be stopping me from shopping, haha. Always get stuff I don't need. Called in about setting up my blood work for my appointment next week. Sure the numbers won't be great, but that is the way the game is played. Left a message and she assistant set me up an order and emailed me, which thought was nice. I could quit worrying about if they got my message. Saw a couple of students running outside. Those days are gone. Could push myself, but??? Read a lot of articles comparing the cameras on different phones. They show photo comparisons. You learn that not one phone is good for everything, there is no best camera phone. All have some weaknesses. Finally, saw a little weed or plant in the driveway. Looks like it might have been squashed, but thought it would make a nice photo. Do have a most interesting evening and night, nothing too exciting or negative. Leave the excitement to your dreams. Take care and be safe. Times have changed since the COVID epidemic. There are students, but definitely, not like before.

Received a couple of cables tonight, with my assorted order of coffee pods. Several different flavors. One cable goes from computer to TV. Have a few videos on my computer that I would like to play on my TV. Other cable is to replace one that goes from my computer to my 2nd monitor. Don't use my 2nd monitor much, but I have it. The old cable uses a port I will be using for the TV, so needed another type of cable. Will deal with them tomorrow. Maybe a coffee tonight. Have a little school work to do. Got a new project I might work on: "Keep in mind, God can't do it all by Himself. He could, but then, what would His children learn. He wants people to help each other first, assisting where He can, where He believe it is the right place and time. He wants people to be better, to care for each other. To evolve. Evil doesn't make it easy." As we all know, it will be a long time before people truly evolve. Back to work and finishing it for tonight. Finished my work. Finished my writing, so might work on my project tomorrow. "Inherit the Wind", again. Good night. The last scene in "Inherit the Wind" is one of the best I have ever seen: Spencer Tracy and Gene Kelly, both are great in it.

Sometimes I can be a butt-hole. Haha. Does make me laugh. Took Chance to the vets. He is doing great. Just needed a little checkup and shots. Little early, by three weeks, but gotta done. Blood work, tomorrow. Ugh. Gotta be done. New mattress topper came in. Fits the bed pretty well. The other one was too big. Changed the sheets and pillows cases and taking a break before a sauna and shower. Foot is holding out. Nice not needing the cane, but do use it for balance still, though not always. Dr. called in an assistant to lift up Chance to the table. I was going to bark, haha, but wasn't sure about my balance, didn't have my cane. He weighed about 3 or 4 lbs. less than last year: 139. Scale was on the floor. Think the Alka-Seltzer does help me feel better??? Not ever night, but here and there. Do take care and be safe. Wonderful dreams. God bless. Enjoy life while you have it. Fasting now, just before my sauna and shower. Anxious to find out how my new mattress topper works??? Chance is loving it. Sacked out right by my pillow. The mutt. How did I get him??? Haha. I know. Tonight, fixed up my sauna, added water to the steamer, drained the drain pot in the sauna, and added eucalyptus oil to the drain pot, where the steam comes out. It was wonderful. When I first sat down, it came to me a little slowly, "Why God created man." So, simple and logical. I found what I was looking for the other day, and am completely at peace and I ended my journey, so guess this simply completes the circle, in that, it came to me "What evil is." Again, just so simple and logical. Everything seems to come around in circles. I know it is not all black and white, there are a bunch of grays to life and living, but this is the Circle of Life??? Earlier started my next project, so might work on that and watch a little TV. Started "MI 2", but haven't finished it, yet. Think I might have seen some of it before. It is going to be long night. Loved my trip to Florida many years ago to visit Deany. Not sure how long ago that was. Coconut Creek. Lewis was an OK guy. Time for bed. Have a nice day and take care. Be safe. God bless. The day has been great. Went and had my blood work done. Went quick and smooth. Last time waited over an hour. This time about 10 or 15 minutes. Weather, overcast and windy but nice and pleasant. Chance rubs in grass sometimes, but nothing to worry about. Don't know what he rubs in but it ain't 'that'. Hehe. My blood works weren't bad. A1C even went down a little, .2. Haha. Thought it might be a lot higher, so I felt great about it. Do have to do better??? Have some bedding in the washer. Moved the stuffed animals from the back, back room. Do have to start working on it and make it a den. New mattress topper did great last night. Not as heavy and thick as the other one, but my back didn't hurt this morning. Made with bamboo. Oh, have some bamboo growing along the woodline behind the house. Not an extreme amount, tall and thin. The dropped leaves look like corn shuck, except smaller. Did a little on my current project. Chance goes in Saturday to the groomer. He is a good boy, but a big ninny. Don't know if I can make 7 or 8 more years with him, but will try. Have a great night. Out of the world dreams. Finished folding my sheet and pillow cases from the dryer. Can't do fixed sheets. Remembered how Janet folded her sheets. She worked at a motel for awhile. I did well, I think, with sheet and cases, lol. Fixed sheet under the bed. Just joking. Janet could fold them, I can't. The guess room stuff is on the bed to be put on tomorrow. So, so restless, tonight. Thought my A1C would be high and it wasn't. Should be glad, but it has got me out of sync. Love the little chart that shows my A1C over the last couple of years. The end of the chart just looks wicked. Had mostly good numbers. My good cholesterol (HDL) has always been low since I first got tested nearly 30 years ago. My bad cholesterol (LDL) has been good for a long time since I lost a lot of weight a few years back. My tri's are up because I haven't done much exercising these past 4 months. Always had trouble with tri's. Only consistent excising helps me bring them down. The responsibility of taking care of Chance is about the only thing that keeps my will up some, and talking to God and My Family here at the house. Many are happy being out of the back back room, haha. Enjoying life means ALL "life"??? Won't try to explain. It is included in the answers given to me by God. I know the circle now. I am at peace. Getting hit with a lot of monthly and annual bills right now. Glad the only real financial stress I have is buying for DOG food, groomer, and vet. Chance is worth it?????? Haha. Hmmm? some thinking to do. Hehe. Three guesses where he is right now: 1) his bed, 2) in front of dog bowl (he already ate and it is getting late), or 3) in MY bed (better not be by my pillow, ugh). Tomorrow, the groomer. Decided to just buy me a Windows File Explorer replacement. The free ones just aren't cutting it. It seems nice so far. Trying my 2nd pair of new shoes. Not hurting like the 1st pair. Still have to break them both in. Foot was doing so great, almost normal, except it never will be again, but close. Until later, you all have a great night. Chance goes in for about 3 hours for a shampoo and stuff. They gave him a handkerchief. Guess for Valentine. He is a good dog. Google Photo had a nice old video from the past. Penelope even touches a snake. "Gladiator" at the moment. Don't think all the games were to the death, but sure there was a lot of blood. People don't understand how easily one can get wrapped up in the excitement. Even the most peaceful of people. There were even naval battles in the Roman Colosseum. Interesting. Know Penelope will forget her younger days, but hopefully, when older, she might like seeing some of the videos and photos from her past. Gotta start eating right, haha. Do have a good afternoon and evening. A great night. Take care and be safe. The dog groomer, the owner, don't think she does much of the work, she handles the phone and stuff, doesn't seem in the best shape, finally noticed my longer hair. I chuckled. Walked around the property a little today. Realized what a great home this would make for a nice size family, but it is mine and Chance's home and it might be too big, but that is what makes it so enjoyable. I can breathe and not feel tight or bounded. The property could be developed, but the woods are home to the animals and birds. Will let the next people develop it if they want. Hopefully, me and Chance can finish our lives here. Want to add an additional front porch to the front and move some of the things under the oak tree nearer the house, but dreams, maybe. Want to work on the back porch so I can free comfortable in using it. Needs some work. Of course, a few millions would help, hehe. Bike path through the woods and a few other things, haha. Need to write an app to keep up my daily 'foot' news. Lol. Hurt some last night. Tad this morning. Breaking in my new shoes will be a trial. "The Mark of Zorro," an old one. Planning ahead for some professional development stuff and getting ready for my yearly evaluation. Enjoying my coffee. Classes shouldn't be too bad this week. Doctor's appointment Wednesday. A warm February predicted. What will March bring? Maybe another walk before it gets too late. My Little Red BooBoo does make me laugh. Always haunting (or is that nagging) me, haha. That mutt's head is on my pillow, again. Don't know if he is plotting a coup or not. Maybe I will let him and he can go to work and feed me. Hmmm. Just not dog biscuits, haha. Sauna and shower. Tried thinking of ways to explain man's (mankind's) relationship with God and God's relationship with man, but guess people will have to keep it at an individual basis: one's personal relationship with God. Man will never evolve past his animal instincts and hatred. Some people will, but????? To hope for more is lost on man. Evil and hatred are too innate in a lot of people and good people will never truly stand up to that. Evolving means becoming better, mankind never will. Maybe AI will, hehe??? Time for a late time soup and maybe a movie before sleep. Until tomorrow, a school day. Another day, another dollar, haha. Nice day outside it seems. Will take Chance outside walking some. Nice day at school. That dog is something else, ugh. Nothing bad inside, but wish there was a remote on dogs: press for poop. Haha. Had to make two trips outside before he would go. Not sure if he is eating. Dogs. It is not only mankind that has a relationship with God, but 'every' individual has his own relationship with God. It is up to the individual what kind of relationship. I think of God as having motherly and fatherly characteristics, of a heavenly kind. Watching (listening) to "Sing." Why I think God can't get angry and mad. He is understanding and forgiving, when He thinks that is what is appropriate. He doesn't forgive everything. How do you forgive evil and evil acts. Anyway, when I say God is a funny guy, in a sense, that is what he is looking for: enjoyable of life??? Later. Finished up a small writing. Couple more things to work on tonight. Stay ready for tomorrow. Two classes. Tried different insoles in new shoes. Did better, but still needs some breaking in. Pain here and there. Nothing extreme. Survived. Stopped at Sam's. Another nice day at school. Two classes but was able to sit more of the time lecturing. Went straight home. Chance did better today. The poop button worked, haha. No, just getting to know him a little better. Took a little photo at work. Purchase "Weird Science". Paid nothing but credits from my shopping. It was only $5 anyway. Love Kelly LeBrock in it. The two young guys, one being from the Brat Pack: Anthony Michael Hall. Anyway, nice chemical between them. Just a little silly movie. I enjoy it. Doctor's appointment tomorrow. Shouldn't be much. Wish I could find someone closer to home. Maybe if this doctor retires. Anxious to get the appointment over. Chance needs outside. Do have a great night and colorful dreams. Take care, be safe. Just finished paying my gas bill. Don't use it much, but gotta keep 'em in business and it isn't too much. Doctor's appointment went great. Arrived early. Checked in and sat down. Had a few minutes to go before scheduled time. Go to the bathroom. Get a phone call. Thought it was my oldest brother. No, doctor's assistant. Seeing if I was in the waiting room. No, in the bathroom, I was finished. She gave me the room number, 6. Went in. Rest is history, haha. Waited a few minutes for the doctor, not long. Last couple of times he didn't seem concern about seeing my feet. He seemed a little more firm this time. So, took my shoes off and hopped onto the examination table. He was there waiting to see if I needed assistance. Bare feet aren't the easiest to walk on. He is a nice guy. Feet are OK. Checked my breathing and stuff; my chest and back, my neck, abdomen, took my blood pressure. First time I noticed his blood pressure gauge on side of the wall. Had the mercury which went up and down. Watched it. Neat. Top number a little high so instead of half a pill he had me cut down to, back to the whole pill, again. Don't have to cut them in half anymore. Haha. We talked about the medicine and he told me about a couple of them seeing if I needed to switch. I don't. But now I know what to watch out for. He mentioned my A1C coming down some. Mentioned if I wanted a meter to put on my arm, whatever, I said no. He was OK with it. Asked about my numbers, think he knows now that I don't do numbers except my A1C. My kidneys are doing better than last time, so that is good. Great, easy going guy. Said, "Come back in 6 months!!!" Oh, that felt good. It was 4 months last time. It is over and I am feeling good. Chance was waiting at the house. I like giving him a treat sometimes when I have been away from the house. Well, he wouldn't take it. His tail wasn't even wagging. I had to force open his mouth and break it up into small pieces and force it down. Now, I have some swampland to sell. Haha. Monday, after my class, I had a student sitting in one of the seats as I was leaving. Thought he was one of my students. He asked me how long I was teaching. I told him over 25+ years at BRCC, 4 years at another community college. Didn't mentioned about 2 years at a private school. Got me into talking about why I taught accounting, mentioned how I did it for a career and that I enjoyed computers and programming more. Didn't want to make computers and programming in a career because I might grow to hate it. Anyway, asked him what he majored in: basically, English, liberal arts. Somehow, I mentioned how my 7, maybe 8th, grade teacher taught us how to use a line structure to diagramming sentences. His instructor was at the computer and he started going through some things to find what I was talking about. He couldn't. It was time to leave, haha. "Others take notice of your radiance. Trying out a new social media site. Seems interesting. Is different. Takes awhile to set up and get use to it. Will see. There are communities for apps, for example, Minecraft (nearly 300,000 were playing) and Roblox (nearly 200,000 playing). Thought of Nick and Bridget, in that, they are into games and more modern stuff, I think. No guarantees on anything here, haha.

Sitting here Wednesday waiting for evening knowing I should walk Chance. UGH! Haha. This dog won't let me get too lazy. No, he is not being pushy. He is in bed, mine or his on the floor. Well, let me get a little exercise in. Later. Spring is here. Can be a little hot during the day, but in the early evening and night, it is comfortable. Nice little breeze for our walk. Have my A/C on and do have to get it checked for the beginning of the Spring and Summer. It has leaked freon in the past, so will have that checked. Anyway, it has been a couple of years. Have a project in mind. Something a little different. Will see. Did play around with my screen size for Windows 11. Have settings for the system, Windows, then you have settings for your programs/apps. It was by accident, but seems to be working out. Changing some of the settings can be challenging, or just live with it? Found a new social media site: Neptune. Don't think I will use it any. More for younger people, creators. "50 First Dates", been awhile since I have seen it. Reading news and it came across to me, with all the things going on in life and the world, there is 'more' than just living it. Finding that one that gives you 'more'. Dreams. Adam Sandler can be funny. Feed Chance a snack when I got home. Fed him his regular meal. When it gets dark, he wants his snack. So, he got two today. The mutt. Do love the Walrus in the movie. "Big Country". Finished my project. Didn't take too long. Nothing special. "An Affair to Remember". Seen the ending a couple of times. Cary Grant did have class. Debra Karr did, too. The old days. Took two melatonin gel capsules. Whew. Slept hard, still got up for BR stops, but slept well. Felt wiped out though. Coffee has helped some. Think part of it was the relief of getting my doctor's appointment over. Melatonin never bothered me quite so much before. Well, My Master, Chance is waiting for his walk. Spring is, definitely, here. 83 outside, but a nice wind. Had nice little walk. Saw the lady in the house at the end of my walk, about 1/2 of the lane going to the side. Don't see her often. Found two rocks with holes all the way through. Haven't found any for a long time, now, felt lucky finding two today. From new rocks placed on the lane months ago. Never found any before from this batch. Found a rock shaped like a heart. Do have to work on my rocks one day. Many won't be good for photos, looks different when close up, but have one that has a nice cross on it, one of my first. So, at bottom of box, haha. Have some stones and gems (I guess) in the back back room and a whole chest of them, but don't have a key. Will have to find out how to open the lock. Same with a chest in the back back room. Don't know what is in it but needs to be opened and find a new use for. Can't keep holding it for someone that doesn't care about anything. Not to even be decent. Anyway, Janet had a difficult time finding a key for it, but sure I can find something, even if it means breaking the lock. Don't need the lock to work. Anyway, My Master is waiting for his supper, but a little while longer. Do enjoy the fact of finding two rocks with the hole going all the way through. One looks like nearly round through. Later. Got my USB-C dock in from Amazon. Using it as an extension for my last webcam so I can center it on top of my desktop. Have two versions of my video recorder (OBS): desktop, portable). The camera is now centered but one version of my recorder was mirrored, from the other, so had to fix that. Both are pointing the same way, can be confusing. Talked with my oldest brother. He is doing good. Chance had to wait to be fed, haha. He was ready to eat. Talked with brother, received dock, fed Chance, setup dock. The effects of the melatonin from last night is wearing off. Think it is time to make some soup. Have some dumplings I may try to use instead of sausage. Dumplings and shrimp??? Soup is making??? Trying something a little new, but not too major, I hope. Haha. Waiting for coffee to make. Should I keep my pods in for two makings, hehe??? Soup is great except for the red beans, haha, which aren't too bad. Need to prepare them better next time. The seasoning in the soup turned out great, as did the shrimp. Love the shrimp in my soups. Red bean softened up but need to do better the next time. Picked up my hoodies and coats from hanging over the sofa. Don't think I will need them this winter anymore. Time for some old movies coming back on Tubi. Little school work still. Did my school work. Working on next little project. Realized I forgot to put in the dumplings in my soup. They are really too big for a soup, so that wasn't too bad. Until tomorrow. Have a good TGIF. Beautiful day. Took a little drive. Beautiful clouds; beautiful shapes of abstract nature. Caught a silver-lining in the clouds. Learned Penelope is doing fine, from my assumption but sure she is. Foot doing great today. For a moment, almost forgot I had the issue with the foot. Insoles in the shoes do make a difference sometimes; sometimes don't, Stretching my shoes do help, but don't have the exact science down, haha. Do have a nice night and pleasant dreams. Tubi has some nice old movies, or at least, ones I have seen a million times. I still find some scenes I have never seen before. Heard maybe, but not seen. Haha. With each breathe I take, God bless.

Sent my last FB post last night and talked about how great my foot was doing. Once I finished and got up, my ankle was giving me trouble. Ugh! Trying different shoes and socks, and maybe, a little walking, taking the dog out and around the house, will loosen it up. Fight through the pain when it comes. Did my 'morning' stretches and plan to start back to the stationary bike riding, weights, and rowing machine. Gotta try in a few minutes. Turning over a new leaf, or basically, going to try to do better and get back into some decent shape. Spring and summer are coming early and I do have to start getting outside more. Just have to get into better shape for myself. Gotta out last this Mutt. Then, I can think about finding final peace. Chance is such a weenie. He needs someone to take care of him. Found a little friend for (Red) BooBoo. Bought a little Mardi Gras thing and it had a baby on top. BooBoo now has a friend. My stuff animals and things, I, at least, pair them up or more. The only thing I can think of that isn't paired is my white tiger throw blanket on my smaller sofa. Tigers are more solidity loners. Anyway, that is the vibes I get from him, haha. Gotta have fun in life or it can overwhelm you. Feel good, in that, heard a little about Penelope and I can only assume, but almost sure, she is doing well. Which is great. Wish I could help her more, but can't work with some people who won't try. It has got to go both ways. Can't do it alone. Anyway, Penelope has her own life to live. Sure she has forgotten about Chance and me already. That is fine. Life. Now to finish sending this out to FB and, then, start another journey on doing better. To hell with the pain. Seems like it isn't getting dark quite as early. Have to reset my night lights. Have a good night sleep. As always, wonderful dreams. Put wings on the sides (small wheels) to keep it from falling one way or the other, might be interesting. Fold the wings back when not riding. Hmmmm. But with my driving, it would definitely be interesting.

Think there are many things out there now that the medical field puts labels on but they aren't quite sure what they are. Flu and COVID are pretty tight together, so who really knows how many variances they have. And then, everyone is a little different which means things aren't quite so sure as what these articles say. They want to claim something is this or that when they really don't know, even with COVID, which they are guessing with so much.

The bike, weights, and rowing machine went well. Ankle didn't have any issues on the bike hitting the side of the ankle. Only a little pain from the ankle towards the end of rowing. Still a way to go before I get to what I was once doing, but a beginning. Don't want to over do it for now. Was going to give away my iPad but it didn't work out, so going to set it up to use with my phone and at work. It isn't the best for work, but for now, I have a desktop on the other desk in my office, so it will make a nice backup if I should need it. And things can work on my iPad, but probably won't be as nice, but will work on it. The only thing about the iPad is that it is a 9th generation (the 11th ain't out quite, yet, see below) and it used the old iphone connector, not a USB-C post, but that is OK. Have a ton of old iphone connector cables, haha. May have to setup Minecraft and Roblox on it. Haha. Probably won't, but Penelope and I had some great times playing. I like the simple games. The old me, haha. Updating the iPad to iOS 18.3. Took two small portable Bluetooth speakers from the exercise room and will have to set them up in the front room. Play songs from YouTube, just thinking. Haha. That is what gets me in trouble most of the time. But what is life without a little trouble, a little excitement. Haha. Still eating on my soup; still some old movies to watch/listen to. The 11th generation of the iPad is coming out in March or April. Keep this one or get a new one. Tough decisions. Hehe. One of the best things I like on the iphone/ipad is the Touch Assistance. Double tap to turn off your screen. Single tap to go to Home page. Of course, you can set it up different ways. Android has the feature but not Apple unless using Touch Assistance. Ankle hurts, but not as bad. Later. Sauna and shower is nice. Orange essential tonight. Finally, soup and movies. Tomorrow. It is tomorrow, early tomorrow. Haha. Playing around with my video recorder. One camera has been freezing. Plugins and add-ons can create issues, besides not turning on your mic. The ME109 (BF109, nowdays) vs. the Zero. Love my military fighter airplanes, especially for WWII. I loved the P-38 Lightning.

Didn't sleep as much as I normally would this morning, but feeling good. Burned boxes and a little other stuff outside, but not much. Pain in ankle seems to come and go. Gotta figure it out. But better now. Clothes in dryer. Dishes later. Need to get A/C person out just for yearly checkup, little water draining issue and little regular cleaning, but shouldn't be much. So many little things to do, ugh. Later. Finished my project for Bridget's birthday tomorrow. Know my clothes should have finished drying by now. Tough question: "Do I fold them now, tonight, or later???" Hehe. Guess the SB is playing now. Will go check the score. Still dishes to do. Do have a great night. Hopefully, a restful sleep.
