Didn't go to bed. Did more school stuff. Still got clothes to get, then bed. Haha. Been sleeping pretty well lately. That walking with the weighted vest, even though for a short time, seems to have made something click. Anyway, feeling better. And the foot doing better helps, too. "Apollo 13", nice movie. Today, slow day, except for letting out the mutt and feeding him. The purpose of life, haha, right in front of my nose. Lol. But how true??? When the 'Christmas' lights go on in the front room, I play a game with the Christmas tree top. 'Red' means He is saying 'no' to me or that I am being or doing 'bad'. Which is most of the time, haha. 'Green' means He is saying 'OK' or that I am doing 'well', going right. 'Blue' (light and dark) is a thumb up, a smiley face. Games, gotta have fun. And who is best to play games with than Him. He is a funny man. Well, time to work on getting ready for my classes Monday and Tuesday. Later. Should be ready for Monday. Feels cold tonight inside, haha. Shouldn't be. Switch shirts. Oh, that dog. Needs out, again!!! Started on my next project, but still haven't developed plans for it, just slowly starting something. Reading about yoga accessories. Just made me laugh. No sleep today, yet. Tonight, for sure. 1st day of class tomorrow. Worked on my project most of the day. Wasn't sure of the direction, but went with the feeling, like I most of the time do, except this time it took a little more time than normal. Think it came out well. I like it. "Going with the feeling," how many times I got into trouble with that. Haha. God does make me laugh. Coincidences. Don't want to go to bed too early. Haha. That dog, Chance, UGH! "North Dallas Forty". Like the movie, though it can be a little too eye-opening about life. Just let Chance in. I always tell him when I get to the door to let him back inside that a bear is going to get him. He must believe me. He is always looking around until the door opens. Haha. Heard a bear was seen a few cities from here. Hehe. Reading about graphic cards. Some over a thousand dollars. Whew. Glad I don't play computer games. Will be ready for sleep early tonight. Spent a good bit of time learning more about the video editor I use. Whew. So much more to learn to really get fancy, lol. Bought some music, a lot, off the internet. So far don't have any issues with copyright checks. Fingers crossed. The video stuff can be overwhelming, but can be amazing if you learn it. Take a lot of experience and playing around. It is fun to play with and, hopefully, I am learning. It is something else. Time for bed. Slept well. Waiting for 7:30 until I realized I don't have class until 12 on Mondays, so another half-hour seemed fine. Go earlier tomorrow. Did stretches: yoga, lunges, isometrics, just 5 simple things. Keeps me flexed, if I do them, haha. Let out Chance, feed Chance, and he wanted to go outside, so walked Chance. Coffee, now. My protein drink and pills. Wet, cold, and crappy outside from the rain. Seems like I might need new shoes, oh, they are so expensive now days: New Balance. Well, have a good day, take care, be safe. Foot is hanging in there. Later. Whew. School went great, today. But He got me. Had issues with getting to my class material, had to do it through the internet, except I couldn't find my file. So, used another one that I never used. Worked, but not as well as it should have. After class, I looked again, and the file was right there. He got me. Haha. Oh, standing up for over an hour wasn't too bad on the foot, but am not in the greatest shape, haha. Survived. Wait until tomorrow. 2 classes. Oh, my. Downloaded a ton of study stuff for my video editor (DVR - DaVinci Resolve). Several hours of videos. Maybe I will learn something. Haha. Like find me a Sugar Momma, haha, that likes Chance, hehe. Tired, but still going not so strong, haha. Where is that Energizer Bunny? What does "Woof-woof" mean? Especially, around supper time. Chance. Not much of a tuna person, but today, had an urge for tuna (w/olive oil). Wasn't bad. Ton of mayo helps, little mustard. Vest day to walk to mailbox, maybe, lol. No, mail, but vest stayed on, haha. Bending over to put leash on Chance, whew. Balance. Another photo editor, not too much, haha. Has a lot of AI editing features. Interesting. Already had two emails from students which included a statement saying what great things they heard about me. Guess doing something good. Haha. Boy, tired. Should sleep well tonight. I hope. Try to survive tomorrow. Tried reading in the front room, but the lamp light isn't the brightest nor goes over the sofa onto the book well. The print is smaller than what I am use to. "The Name of the Wind." Just a few pages tonight. Little here and there. Don't want to strain the eyes. Getting near bedtime, I hope. Slept well, but sore this morning, haha. Had a typo on my office hours doc, so updated that. Anxious to get to school to fix my online filing system there so today there won't be any issues. Do have a great day and take care. Be safe. Great day at school. Two classes weren't too hard on the foot. I did sit some, so that helped. Shopped at Sam's. Foot still held out. Now, it is just pulsating a little here and there. Have all the groceries picked up mostly. Foot is great, don't know about the rest of me. Chance, that dog. Don't know what he wants. Ugh. Haha. Keeping up with pills and such. Wonder what cave people did for pills. Lol. Still a little more to pick up for groceries and find something to eat. Shoes, gotta have them, UGH! Chunky soup mood. More a Campbell's soup person, but, the mood. Echo Show, can be trying, ugh. Wonder if dogs can have 5 legs, guess only in AI. Do have a good night sleep. Take care, be safe. God bless. Nice school day, except spent most of the class on my feet and some walking. Tomorrow, two classes, but hopefully, not as much standing. Foot is OK except in the heel a little and my knees are wearing some, sore but no real pain. Surviving. Ate out today and I felt so great. The Demons, or whatever, are gone. No one can really know what I mean unless they experience it for themselves, which I wish no one ever does. I can kinda appreciate my years before my wreck and how innocent, naive I was, after the wreck, the fight and, then, the Demons with more fighting. I never really knew how regular people should feel or felt. I thought everyone had Demons (whatever?) or felt them. Only now, I can feel like people should feel. I can enjoy the rewards of fighting off Satan and his demons (being a little figurative). Am not bitter at life or God. In fact, I am closer to God. He protected me. Now, I am part of Him (again, being a little figurative). Understanding God, the spiritual world, time, life a lot more, and still thinking on them and continuously learning. Anyway, it feels good. Love this woman's video. Think she is 90. Anyway, she doesn't show it on the outside, but you can just feel and see the pain and hurt deep inside. The uncertainty of things. Honestly, something worse than death. But yet, she is so calm and soft spoken. Just my viewpoint. Can only wish her the best and pray to God for her and hers.

Classes went well, with only a few hiccups. Found a new friend at school. Wonder if anyone can spot him/her in the photos. Pronouns, ugh. Hehe. Did a lot of walking at school and shopping. Was so sore this morning. But a funny kinda sore. Chance fed and out. Had breakfast, protein drink & pills. Back to bed but not for too, too long. Got up, some petroleum jelly on feet, took boxes out and burned them. Used mower, luckily it didn't get stuck. Some places in yard are still wet. Boxes burned well. Thought about California. So, sad. "Forest Gump". Need to download some books for someone and do school work. Worrying about the bad weather predicted for Tuesday. Later. The movie is interesting. Can get you thinking about things. Waiting for my shoes, today. Destiny! Is there truly such a thing??? "Jurassic World", do like the movie. Takes time finding and putting together books (USBs), but getting there. Getting there. Shoes came in. Hope they give me better support. Old shoes are either worn or aren't quite working. Life is something else. Janet has been popping up in my mind a lot lately; she is in a lot of the photos on my photo frame; just keep telling her I am doing the best I can, but only so much I can do. Ouch. Not as sore today as yesterday, but think soreness of my body is just now a permanent fixture. Ouch, again. The house is breaking down, haha. Or, it just might be the cold, hehe. Dog out, fed, had morning protein drink, pills. Dishes washing. Mainly, school work and attendance. Waiting for Tuesday. COLD!!! The real COLD is surviving. It is nice finding someone that can clip away at that cold. Sure miss Pea. I had called her sometimes Boo, like BooBoo and Yogi Bear. Well, going to name my new friend BooBoo. Just hope he doesn't do like Elf on the Shelve and start moving around everywhere. He is over by my mic now. Ugh. Time for school work and news. Little warmer today, this evening, so guess the cold front will be tomorrow or tomorrow night. Waiting. Saw four red birds (cardinals) out in the back of the house, in the yard pecking away for whatever. Will have to start seeing if I can handle getting and putting out bird feed and, maybe, something for the squirrels. Maybe medium size bags and not the large bags. Will see. Foot is better, but different shoes and stuff produces different little pains and feelings on the side and in the heel. Chance had his walk. He is a pain sometimes when he is constantly following me as I am in the kitchen. Worry about tripping on him or dropping something on him. Guess that is life. BooBoo. Think Chance is being a bad influence. Had to track him down. Elf on the Shelve, a female one of course, whispering in his ears some secrets. Oh, my. Penelope was there laughing. "Dune II", some interesting points. Earlier I thought of all the technology we have today; all the knowledge and information; and so many other things, yet, people, humans, haven't evolved. Nothing wrong with animal instincts, but humans should be reaching for 'more'. To be better. Closer to God, His spirit. Not sure how that will ever occur. Just Me, Being Me. The movie is interesting. 2nd time watching. That is what I need in life, another BooBoo smiling and laughing at me. Ugh. Lol. Until tomorrow. Beautiful day. Cold is coming in, windy, and it is a 'chilly' Arctic cold. Walked most of the yard. Took out garbage can, with Chance, lol. Still some roses. Janet's satsuma tree is reaching to the sky, lol. Not growing outward. Memories. There is a ton of love in the world, but 'caring' is missing. "The Greatest Story Ever Told," over 3 hours, whew. Arctic cold, the extra chill it has. Movie cut off in the middle. Went back to beginning. Decided on something new, "Donovan's Reef". Can't find any good new movies. "Mission Impossible" first one. 3-5" of snow predicted on Tuesday. Don't know if they will close school. Assume they will. Chance is a good dog. Just thought, maybe he is waiting for someone. Hmmm. Haha. Life. It is interesting. Why I love reading so many articles and the news and stuff. For example, elderly lonely ladies in a place in Japan are getting arrested so they can go to jail to work in a factory there. Wow! God has been keeping me from feeling lonely. Still searching for that meaning, the 'more'??? Still searching for a good file explorer alternative that I can work it. All have so many settings and fine tuning it can be a hassle. Time for a shower. Shower went well. Have to use water shoes for I can't walk bare footed. I can barely stand barefooted, it hurts. Back to the movie. "I Am Gabriel" ??? will finish tomorrow most likely. Tomorrow. 25 degrees this morning. Waiting for the snow tomorrow. Foot hurt this morning. Took pill. Take it as it comes. Windy and cold today. Classes closed tomorrow. Chance is a good boy. A sissy, but a good boy, haha. "I Am Gabriel" is a nice movie. I did like when Gabe mentioned about talking to God like regular conversation. Don't think there is a need for a prayer mat, but if that gets people talking to God, then, definitely, nothing wrong with it. God knows 'all' our thoughts, feelings, actions, and so forth. It is why it is so hard to comprehend Him. Janet use to pick on me about my "R's". Have some emails from her, when we first started communicating with each other, that I may have to start reading. We had our moments. Time for the news. The country is turning around for the better. A lot more common sense out there now. Not perfect, no government is. Waiting for tomorrow. Took Chance out again. Stopped snowing. Have about 4-5 inches of snow on the ground. Small bird on side of house. Flew under porch. Several birds around. Wanted to try help one, but it quit chirping when I went in that direction. Chance loved his running in the snow. Guess I lost the video of him running in it; fingers were cold and not best position to be filming. Thinking of Penelope. Read San Diego is having fires, too. Hope she isn't caught up in it. Beautiful day. Cold last night, down to 19 here, maybe more. Snow is melting well. Pretty wet outside. Chance doesn't like the melted snow as much, haha. Didn't know the California fires were close to San Diego, but Penelope should be fine if she is in California. A smaller fire was a few miles away but it is contained. Enjoyed looking at some of the icicles and drops falling off the carport overhang. Feel so calm and at peace, guess you can say. Found the meaning of life and the purpose, yesterday, and thought I would have a long and difficult time finding the "more" to life, maybe even until after death. But found it this morning. It is so logical and, in a way, so simple. It all falls into place, the puzzle is complete. God has His human side??? There are things pass the 'more' to think about, but I found what I was looking for, "What is God looking for???". I found it. I can feel God giggling. Haha. Eureka!!! Downloaded a photo of Janet when she was young. The snow behind her. Oh, boy. Makes me love the South even more, haha. Snow clearing up pretty well. Heard it is coming back sometime in February, oh, my. Thinking about going to the Samsung S25 Plus or Ultra. Watching "Unforgiven". Love the end. Like Android vs. iOS. Facetime is the big difference, but never use Facetime so not a big deal. Don't use my phone much except for photos and text messages. Mainly, use my desktop. Love using my desktop. And this 34" screen really is nice. So, keep my current phone and go with the iPhone 17 next year or go Samsung??? Probably the Ultra??? Do have a good night and take care. Just finished another writing. Kinda like it. So, true. Morning, fed dog, Chance, protein drink, and pills. Later, walk down the lane to the house at the end. Foot doing great, though not perfect. Little nerve twinges in the heel and ankle. Around 60 outside, wind picked up, cooler in the shades. Changed wiper blades. Definitely, needed change. Decided not to upgrade to new Samsung S25+. Love my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Does what I need. Might get Fox's Live Nation. Enjoy Gutfeld and some of the other shows. Netflix went up, but not enough for me to stop it. Maybe look at Disney or Max??? Nice steam sauna and shower. Cold water is, definitely, colder now. Finish up with a little cold water at the end of the shower. Haha. Amazing how wrinkled clothes can get when you don't fold them right away. Glad I am a wrinkle loving kinda man with my clothes. Makes me feel cool, carefree. Haha. No, not lazy. Hehe. "Angel and the Badman." Gotta start eating healthy soon. "Soon", hehe. "Pale Rider" and starting on project with my lasting writing. Slept great. Nice beautiful day. In the 60's. Took a walk down the lane. Definitely, thanked The Lord. Never in a million years did I think my foot would get better and I would be walking decent again. Miracles do happen. I have had a few in my lifetime. Did some attendance work for my classes, today. "Atlas". Never saw before. Reading about the S25+ Ultra more, about it camera. Tempted, hehe. We have two systems at school, Canvas and LoLA, which each have rosters. Have to compare both to make sure there are no issues. Thing, one sorts the names: first name, last name. The other sorts: last name, first name. So, they don't match up. Using Excel, can get them to match up so I can compare. Needed to create a new worksheet and use an Excel formula, which I had to research, to match one sort to match the other sort. Anyway, no major problems. Time to walk the dog, YES, Chance. Later. Cooler. Movie is so, so. Learned a long time ago, it is not so much the sharpen and clarity of the image as the content and the beholder. Walking up and down stairs is somewhat difficult, mainly, have to watch falling down steps. More reading and stuff, and movie. Do have a good night and sweetest of dreams. Take care, be safe. Writing this in my text editor because apparently Google Earth Pro messed up on my Google Keep message. I downloaded the Google Earth Pro desktop version and played around with it. It can be amazing, but ain't perfect. Guess this is another learning experience. Memories of all the work I have lost to computers and electricity outages, haha. Copied a few images from Google Earth Pro: some old homes and such, Randy's and Bridget's homes, where one image of Bridget's home shows Google Earth isn't perfect. Isn't, UGH, ain't perfect. Today was beautiful. In upper 60's, but cooler now and getting colder. Downloading my Google Photos from the internet. 67 files of 4GB. A lot of files: images and videos. My dad's old Pyramid building is still up and my grandmother's home is still next to it. Remember the East Jefferson High School stadium. How many years ago? Haha. How the Sherry Drive and Cliffwood homes have changed, especially the Sherry Drive home. An article I read was about the Samsung S25+ Ultra and its camera. Tempting. Weighing the pros and cons. Love my iPhone, but??? Human weaknesses, haha. Downloading files 9, 10, and 11. Got a way to go. Do love this high speed internet connection. Could go higher, but what I have is fine. No need for more speed. Watched "Atlas" with Jennifer Lopez. Not too bad. Enjoy the ending and the robot thing towards the last part of the movie. What if life? What does living mean? Movie was OK. Now, "Oblivion" with Tom Cruise. Little far out. Downloading the files can be a little trying but not too bad. It is more the moving of them to other drives that can be a little more time consuming. Up to file 12. Do have to try to eat better, but??? Ankle and heel bothering tonight. Not painful, but??? Patience. Not sure if it is patience vs. just knowing how it is. Trying PLEX for the first time. "Devil's Advocate". I like it. Up to 26. Up to 51. Had to switch to "MI5". Tried downloading too many at one time which slowed down the TV. Got it doing OK, again, but only 2 at a time, not 4, haha. It is so nice feeling like there is nothing to look for anymore. Still will do a lot of thinking, but for me that won't stop, no matter. But I found my missing piece to complete my puzzle. Now, everything else will be extra. I can live in peace with myself. Have to keep using my fingerprint to keep downloading for Google security. UGH, lol. Figured out how not to do the constant fingerprinting. Up to 62. 5 more to go. Well, will be calling it a night here. Until tomorrow. Windy and a little cloudy. Chance's stomach is rumpling and he hasn't eaten this evening. Don't need him throwing up. Took him outside a couple of times. Oh, boy. My stomach is rumpling a little too, but I did eat. Sam's and Walmart were packed, but people kept out of each other's way. New shoes were tight on the side of the foot. Pain, but nothing too bad. Just put the shoe thing inside the shoe to stretch it. Got back from letting Chance out, again. He doesn't want to go outside and not eating. Guess I will be cleaning something doing the night or tomorrow morning. There were lizards outside today and he does go under the porch sometimes. Ugh. And he isn't even my dog. Haha. He is a good boy. All the groceries are picked up, finally. 48-bottles of water was the heaviest thing, but only got one pack. Couple boxes of protein drinks weren't too bad. Found a liquid creamer that doesn't need the fridge. Pump action. Got two. Got another creamer for its flavor??? It goes in the fridge. Got some soft drinks for the house. I have tea, sparkling water, soft drinks, and my Keurig pods: tea and coffee. A variety pack of coffee coming in tomorrow or Tuesday. Won't be thirsty for awhile. Oh, have water, too. Haha. Kool-aid packs, lol. Starting to drag a little but got to get ready for school tomorrow. Shouldn't be bad. Got medicine and soft drinks at Walmart, and others, haha. Do have a great night. Chance is doing well. Didn't throw up last night. Rumblings in his stomach stopped late last night. He ate this morning. God does take care of me. Went to school early. Mixed up my days, which I do sometimes, haha. Anyway, worked out for the better. Traffic wasn't bad, though drizzling some. Called for eye appointment. Sometime in May, she said, was the earliest for my doctor. April was the earliest for another doctor. Just about to get off the phone when someone in her office spoke up and, apparently, there was an opening for Feb. 24th. A lot earlier than May. Been wanting to take personal leave, haven't for many years. Get 16 hours each academic year. Well, the date was a class day but I took it off and the next day, too. Still have some time left. God's next miracle will have to be to keep me out of Walmart, haha. Walker's Walmart didn't have the Extra Creamy Whipped Cream the other day and neither did the Denham Walmart either, today. UGH! Got the original whip cream and some Cool Whip, Walmart brand. Anyway, should be completely free of the need for shopping for awhile. Hehe. I can always come up with something. Haha. Still have to try out my new shoes, again. Didn't want to take them in the rainy weather this morning. Know the best thing about enjoying and finding fun in the simple things in life, doesn't cost much. Of course, my Christmas decorations and stuff animals look at me as if I am nuts, but they still talk to me. Haha. God does, too. Well, there was a nice sunset this evening when walking Chance to the mailbox. With sensors and all kinds of filters, it is difficult to get an image close to what your eyes see. Had a student needing a pen to sign the roll at the end of class and he mentioned how he enjoys listening to me. Felt good. Can only take him at his words. Surely, I feel more at ease.
